Erika Gerdemark Photography - Blog - wedding photographer in Stockholm, Sweden, Europe - bröllopsfotograf Stockholm, Sverige bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

I am a photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. This is a blog about my work, my thoughts, my art and my business.

I work mostly with weddings, it's my biggest passion. But I also do other types of portraits, still life and reportage.

I find my inspiration in fashion and in nature. The scenery seen from a train window on my way to my hometown, fashion magazines, and constantly view websites about weddings all over the world are some of the things that keep me going.

Live - create - explore

Helena and her flowers

Helena married her Spanish husband in Hedvig Eleonora kyrka at Östermalm and celebrated at Högberga gård, Lidingö, in August. These two photos are from the inner courtyard at Högberga gård and I love the expression in Helena’s face. She was such a beautiful and elegant bride.

Orange with a pink bow

Thomas and Marie had a rainy day October 3 when they celebrated at Rockelstads slott, a small castle near Sparreholm in Södermanland. Dispite the weather we went outdoors for some portraits. Marie’s dress and Thomas jacket was so wet but they didn’t complain at all, instead they were relaxed and laughed a lot. It was...

Jenny Hammar behind the scenes

Jenny Hammar and I photographed a wedding together October 24 in Hagaparken surrounded by colorful leafs and a smell of autumn. Anna-Karin and Mikael married in Matteus kyrkan and celebrated at Stallmästaregården. They both were so kind and loving and easy to photograph. I also snapped some behind the scenes photos of Jenny when she...

A bride worth waiting for

Helena was one hour late to the portrait session, but she was a bride worth waiting for. She was stunning and so relaxed even if she was late. I had plenty of time with the handsome groom instead. Sometimes I think it’s fascinating how life brought two people together. Helena and John met in Helena’s...
